Winners Named in Alive-Sponsored Mt. Hermon Conf.

April 2007 — Sharon Hinck received the Alive-sponsored Writer of the Year Award and Austin Boyd the Pacesetter Award at this month’s Mount Hermon Writers Conference in California. Hinck, best known for her “Becky Miller” series (Bethany House), releases her “Sword of Lyric” series (NavPress) this spring. Boyd, who writes science fiction and fantasy, was honored for his “Mars Hill Classified” series (NavPress). Each award came with a cash prize from Alive Communications, event sponsor for the past five years.
